Cosmetic dentistry is a large and rapidly developing field of dentistry. It includes a number of treatment options:
YOU HAVE A DAMAGED TOOTH
If you have a chipped or cracked tooth, you should see a dentist as soon as possible to get the appropriate treatment. If it hurts, try to avoid biting in that area or eating hot or cold foods.
YOU HAVE LOST A TOOTH
If one or more of your teeth has been knocked out by a blow or a fall, you should recover it and remove any dirt or debris by gently rinsing it, while trying to avoid handling the root. If you can keep it in its socket until you can get emergency dental treatment, your tooth will have a better chance of survival. If this isn’t possible, put it in a cup of milk. If the tooth is simply pushed out of place, don’t force it back into its socket. Use a moist tissue or gauze to gently hold the tooth in place and call us immediately.
YOU HAVE TOOTH OR MOUTH PAIN
If your teeth or gums are causing you severe pain that cannot be controlled by over the counter painkillers, such as paracetamol or ibuprofen, call us immediately so we can assess the cause and help solve the underlying problem. Meanwhile, a cold compress to the affected area might bring some relief.
YOUR GUMS ARE SWOLLEN
When your mouth or gums are swollen, it’s usually due to an infection. This might be in your teeth or gum tissue, or there may be an abscess that has to be drained. Apply a cold pack to the affected area and call us immediately so you can be accurately diagnosed and treated.
A FILLING IS LOOSE OR HAS FALLEN OUT
If a filling is loose, try to avoid disturbing it and call us for an appointment to urgently have it repaired or replaced. If it does fall out, remove it from your mouth to avoid swallowing or choking on it.
A CROWN IS LOOSE OR HAS COME OFF
If a crown becomes loose, you should have it re-cemented as soon as possible. If it falls off, try to keep it safe, as we may be able to cement it back into place.

WHAT OUR PATIENTS SAY
"Extremely happy with service. Polite, professional and friendly staff. Dentist was patient and explained everything to me very well. Made me feel at ease throughout my visit there. Definitely recommend this dentist. Everything new and shiny as well."
"Just got back from my treatment at the surgery and apart from being very numb, im extremely satisfied with the whole team. My dentist was very clam and gently with their work. Informing me of what they were doing as they worked in my teeth. Furthermore the treatment they have done feels good. The receptionist that I dealt with were friendly and helpful. One of the best dental surgeries I have been too."
"I had tried to have a tooth removed from another dentist but it was too painful and the dentist there seemed annoyed with me. So, it was a complete pleasure and surprise to be treated so well at this practice by the dentist. I was put at ease, it didn’t feel rushed and the dentist took great care to avoid any pain or distress. The tooth was safely removed. I will definitely go back. Highly recommended."
